レース当日！いつものように朝からおにぎりづくり。米10合。炊飯器（ただの炊飯器じゃなく美味しく炊けるガス炊飯器）がうちのチームにあってほんとに良かったと思える瞬間第2位。
Race day! I cooked onigiri (riceball) in the morning as we always do before races overseas. This is one of the monents we appreciate our gas rice cooker.
事前に通し番号のタグを付けてあった荷物をホバート行きのコンテナに積み込みます Loaded luggage and equipment that were tagged with numbers.
スキンヘッドに腕に入れ墨びっしりの輸送会社のクリスは、去年のバタバタがあったので私のことをしっかり覚えてくれていました。そして、本日レーススタート後に起こった事件により、彼はもっと私のこと忘れられなくなるとはこの時は知る由もなく。 Chris, the container currier guy remembered me! As we talked a lot last year to organize our luggage back from Hobart. At that moment, i had no idea he would not remember more about me because of another incident happening later.

セールチョイスが終わり、セールの配置。バウつっこまないように後ろへ後ろへ。 Storing sails aft in order not for bow to sink down. We are sailing in good downwind.
レース前最後のポジティブストレッチ！ Last stretching before the race.
何度も言うけど、この風景が好きです。レースフラッグがたくさんはためくヨットクラブにたくさんの人。 I repeat it, I love to see this scenery. Flying race flags at a yatch club filled with a lot of people.
GenとIanもお見送りに来てくれました！ Ian and Gen came to see us off!

そして私は観覧艇へと向かいました。さすがに3回目ともなると要領がわかってきて、ドリンクと食事を楽しみながらもデッキのいいポジションをゲット！ でも去年と違い、観覧艇のポジションが一番北の第一スタートラインの前ではなかったのでマキシのスタートとスタート直後の迫力ある走りは目の前で見れませんでした。でもその代わり、第二スタートラインの前だったのでベンガルのマニューバリングはばっちり見れました。
Then i headed aboard a spectator boat. This time the boat didn't go to the first start line (for big boats) as last year so I couldn't see the exciting start of maxis, however, I could see the start of the second start line divisions that include Bengal.
スタート15分くらい前。About 15 mins before the start.
スタート47秒くらい前。Abou 47 sec before the start
スタートの瞬間。他艇に隠れてベンガルは見えませんでした！
At the moment of the start. I couldn't see Bengal as it was behind other boats....!
そうそう、スタートの瞬間の号砲はシドフィッシャーが鳴らしたものらしいです。
スタートの時のビデオをアップしようと思ったけどWi-Fi環境があまり良くないのでまた後日！

で、例年ならもう一晩シドニーを楽しむのですが、この旅の準備がかなりバタバタだったからなのか、なんでだか自分にも記憶がないんだけどホバートへのフライト今日のチケット取っていて、慌ててレンタカー返して空港に向かおうとしたその時。
When i went back to iur car and was about to head to the airpirt, i found my suitecase not in the car.
私のスーツケースが車にないっ。間違って降ろさないでくださいねって言ってあったのに、ない！ 自分の確認不足も良くないんですがね。タグの通し番号だけチェックして荷物確認したから、荷物の数が1個多いのに気づいてなかったらしい。 一瞬どこかに起き忘れてきたのかも、ホバートに行ってもスーツケースに出会えないのかもなんで思ったけど、あとから写真見たら（このページの上から2番目の写真）ちゃんと自分のカバンあったので安心しました。
I told the guys not to unload my bag in the morning!!!! When i checked the numbers on the tags of the luggage, i didnt realize there is an extra bag. Yeah i cant blame anyone.....i once thought i might have left it sinewhere but i was relieved to find my suitecase in the ohotis i took (the one at the too if this page).
とりあえず空港で揃えられる衣類を調達。ボクシングデーのセールのおかげで若干安く上がりました。
Anyway, i bought some clothes at yhe airport. Lucky its Boxing Day today.
ラインオナーの船よ早くフィニッシュしてー！！（1着の船がついた直後から荷物の受け取りが始まるので）。
Please the first boat finish quickly! I want my suitecase! (After the first boat arrives, luggage collection starts)
